HTA Awarded New ISO 9001:2008 Certification

HTA has now been awarded the new ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

Building on the success of achieving the internationally recognised ISO 9001 standard for quality management for its business operations, HTA is proud to be one of the first companies within the sheet metal manufacturing industry to achieve ISO 9001:2008 which is the new quality standard replacing ISO 9001:2000.

HTA decided to move from its existing UKAS accreditation body to Lloyds Quality Assurance which is the major International firm in this field. After achieving initial approval some years ago it was decided that the move to Lloyds would further enhance the long term business strategy.

The company's management continues to operate a specific policy represented by the following:-

- Concentrating on the requirements of its customers and developing it's products as well as services to meet their expectations
- Adopting a lasting development policy that includes the quality of the products and services
- Training the workers and providing for the means necessary for applying the quality management system
- Circulating the quality purposes among all the workers
- Providing an atmosphere characterised by the spirit of team work.
