New Trumpf TruLaser 5030 Commissioned at HTA Group
HTA has now completed the commissioning of a new flatbed Laser from Trumpf.
The Trumpf TruLaser 5030 boasts a wealth of new laser cutting technological innovations and is the flagship of the range.
This machine, which cost in excess of £500,000, is the quickest laser cutting machine of its kind in the world, and is the first in operation in the UK. It allows HTA to laser cut components more accurately, quicker and more cost effectively than ever before.
HTA's laser cutting capability extends up to 4000mm x 2000mm sheets up to 25mm thick in Stainless and Mild Steels and 15mm thick in Aluminium.
Managing Director Adam Thomas said a big thank you to all the staff who worked flexible shifts to minimise disruption to the production schedule during installation of the new Trumpf TruLaser 5030.
"We have been fortunate that the installation of this machine went exactly as planned and we are already beginning to see the benefits of the new technology deployed on this 'Flagship' Trumpf flatbed laser cutting machine. HTA look forward to utilising the facility to fully automate this machine in the future, where we will then see another step up in productivity."
